Анотацiя Нами проведений аналіз результатів обстеження 68 хворих дітей та підлітків, хлопчиків — 42 (62,69), дівчаток — 26 (37,31 %), віком від 5 місяців до 18 років, середній вік був 9,6 ± 5,65 років. Діти страждають на тяжкі, рефрактерні до лікування форми епілепсії, тривалість захворювання від місяця до 16 років. Усім дітям проведені генетичні дослідження з визначенням частоти зустрічальності алелі CYP2C9*1,*2,*3, методом специфічної полімеразно-ланцюгової реакції. Серед обстежених дітей домінувала алель гену CYP2C9*1 (в 76,47 %), яка присутня у більшості населення і відповідає за нормальну швидкість метаболізму. Носії алельних генотипів CYP2C9*2 и CYP2C9*3, які пов’язують із повільним метаболізмом ліків і виникненням небажаних побічних ефектів, була зафіксована у 22,53 % пацієнтів.
